Eco-Art Therapy brings together the creative process and ecopsychology to nurture self-discovery and holistic wellbeing. By connecting with our creativity, tapping into the wisdom of natural systems, and being with others in a supportive group environment, we can foster self-reflection, grounding, and inner peace. Eco-art is also an opportunity to address feelings of eco-anxiety as we learn to navigate the realities of our changing climate.
Each session will include a group check-in; an open-ended art activity using a mix of natural and traditional art materials; and an invitation for participants to share. The group will meet in various locations within city limits. This program is facilitated by CMHA-YT Generalist Counsellors Tanya Kutschera, Registered Clinical Counsellor, and Gen Gagnon, Professional Art Therapist.
