A Group That Supports You!
Caring for someone with a mental illness can be a confusing, frustrating and frightening thing.
Peer support is a valuable tool to help learn more about the mental illness and how you can support your loved one while also caring for yourself.
The Family Support Group is a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space in which you can find information, share common experiences and hear from others with lived experience. On occasion, experts from a variety of resources will provide information on everything from self care to navigating the legal system.
We learn that we are not alone in this path and – by supporting each other – we can build on our shared experiences and both give and receive support each time we attend.
